Overview
The PledgeLA Venture Capital Fellowship Program prepares SoCal-based graduate students from underrepresented backgrounds for careers in venture capital investing. Specifically, the program offers three months training in venture capital fundamentals, hands-on experience in the due diligence and investment process, and a full-time summer internship at a LA-based venture capital firm.
Key Project
As part of my training, I had the opportunity to engage with a VC-backed startup to develop an investment memo. Alongside my team, we conducted due diligence, where I focused on the competitive landscape and key risks affecting the business. Upon completing our memo, we had the opportunity to present our findings to investors at LA-based VC firms.
